Battery Geek Free is the free version of Battery Geek Pro - a customisable, rotatable, and resizable battery meter that is displayed behind the desktop (over a selectable wallpaper image), so that your remaining charge is always visible at a glance - it can optionally display the battery charge percentage, the battery temperature, current output voltage, time and date, and USB connection type. Low power usage design ensures that battery is not drained by constant updates, unlike some other meters.
