There is a wasteland off the main coast that was once the site of unbelievably devastating wars, a resting place for victims of the plague, and also a high rise asylum for the insane and dangerous. Due to the danger level of this land, the government does not allow public access. A retired military official, you are set to take a cruise and tour the world from a new perspective. Your first ever leisure vacation is going well, until the ship starts taking on water. While desperate calls are made to the coast guards and other emergency units, given that you are so close in proximity to the haunted "shadow island," service has been cut to and no one can call out for help. Despite the best efforts of the crew, the boast has suffered damage, and then, as the lifeboats are being deployed, the ship explodes. That is the last thing you remember, for when you wake up, you have no recollection of arriving on the dreaded "shadow island." Now, without a means of contacting outside help or any other means of escape, you are trapped in this large wasteland where the insane and dead both intend to claim you for their side...
