Zombie Gunship Survival

Join the world of Minerva for intense, strategic gaming combined with learning!

Take control of an army of heroes and strategically move them on a hexagonal map in order to defeat your opponent in a game of wits. Unlike traditional turn based games, you are given the opportunity to solving problem sets from various concepts during your opponent’s turn. By solving these problems, you are rewarded with in-game currency which can can be used to buy upgrades and perks to power up your gameplay!

Generally, gameplay goes as follows:

---You can either queue up in the public arena to be matched against a random other opponent, or set up your own custom matches against a friend.

---Prior to queuing up, you can select which heroes you want to bring into combat as well as which educational concept you want to solve problems in.

---At the start of the game, deploy your heroes on any of the indicated summoning platforms.

---On your turn, move your heroes around, attack neutral/enemy targets, and summon abilities. Capture neutral/enemy-controlled objectives to grant your army passive or ability-activated buffs, map vision, and the ability to summon minions.

---On your opponent's turn, solve problems to gain gold stars and mana. Gold stars are necessary for upgrading your units and their abilities. Mana is necessary for casting abilities.

---The army to first eliminate all enemy heroes or destroy the enemy Hexcore (whichever happens first) wins the match.

This game is in its early stages of development and as such does not offer a wide range of heroes for players to choose from. At this point in time, all we're doing is just testing the general app framework for future, more ambitious software development. Join our endeavor towards a more fun and interactive way to learn!
